We are beginning stages of planning the 2010 Pa Hero Walk. The plan is to leave Philadelphia on June 12th of 2010 with no definite plan for the exact starting point. WHAT IT IS FOR

The "PA. HERO WALK" was organized by a small group of patriots in western Pennsylvania to help spread the awareness of the Wounded Warrior Project in this country. You may get more information on the WWP by visiting www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

  Our first walk began in Philadelphia, Pa. on June 21, 2009, and ended on July 4, 2009. On this walk fourteen people took part in the entire 342 while many more joined along the way. There were over 400 people that walked the last 12 mile leg that ended in New Kensington, Pa.  The 2009 Pa Hero Walk generated over $60,000 in donations.

Our goal this year is to raise $100,000 to support the WWP and their efforts in helping our physically and psycologically injured returning heroes. Our group is now accepting monetary donations through this site for 2010, for which all proceeds benifit the Wounded Warrior Project. We are also accepting IN-KIND donations such as lodging, meals, bottled water and any other necessities to enable our group to walk the 342 mile coarse in 2010.
